The debate project
PI is dedicated to restoring an intelligent political debate in America. We believe the cable news-soundbite era of argument is injurious to the future health of American democracy. Instead of ad hominem demagogy being preached through partisan blogs and talk radio to the ideological choir, all important issues and ideas should be argued in comprehensive public debates, pitting teams of advocates and experts against each other in a moderated public forum. All those interested in forwarding the public debate project for any issue, either in facilitation, ideological or intellectual support, or in forming the opposition team, are encouraged to contact us. Socrates wouldn't have it any other way.
